Graham Samuel Boyd
Graham Boyd lived in Stanger, Natal, the son of Graham S. and Mavis Boyd.

He attended Kearsney College from 1937 to 1940 where he was an outstanding sportsman. Graham played 1st XI cricket in 1937, 1938, 1939 & 1940, when he Captained the team, 1st XV rugby in 1938, 1939 & 1940 and Natal Schools Cricket in 1940. Graham obtained tennis colours in 1938 and was a Kearsney prefect in 1940.

During WWII he was stationed at Takoradi with SAAF 26 Squadron flying Vickers Wellingtons. Sadly, on the 18th December 1943, his Wellington was listed missing at sea, off Takoradi. It is believed to have been hit by fire from a submarine.

Graham Boyd is honoured on the Malta Memorial on panel 12 column 1. He is also listed on the Kearsney College Roll of honour.
